Jonathan Aina is a Data Engineer with a BSc in Computer Science from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and MSE Digital Communications Engineering from the University Of Leeds, United Kingdom. He currently works as the Technology Lead in the Client Data Management department at Bloomberg. He has carried out various technology driven academic researches and projects in areas such as Education, Telecommunication, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence.
ACP countries are the home to some of the youngest populations in the world, he believes technology will help to spur the growth that will enabled the long awaited development. He is interested in working with youth and regional organisations in capacity building and empowerment, through IT by facilitating IT training programmes, promoting data driven interventions, providing hands-on support, funding innovative tech solutions, career advisory etc. in ACP countries. He is keen to support various projects geared at encouraging youth participation towards bringing positive change in IT.
In his bid to achieve the above, he has setup a number of organisations to realise this goal. He is currently the CEO of CUDO Holdings Limited, a company that owns a telemedicine platform, providing access to top notch medical professionals across Nigeria from the comfort of patient’s home using a mobile application. He is also the CEO of MyOwnTutor MK (a tuition company based in Milton Keynes, UK) that offers tuition services using a proprietary online platform to facilitate the learning process.
