Kenneth Asiagbe has a broad-based science and engineering background including Environmental Consultancy Services, Systems Safety Engineering, Waste Management Science, Sustainable Project Management and Software Modelling and Simulation. Kenneth holds B.Tech (Hon). & M.Tech degrees in Chemical Engineering Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, and PhD degree in Chemical and Process Engineering University of Leeds.
He has over 10 years aggregate experience in Safety, Environmental Management and Consultancy Services in the Oil and Gas Sector. Designed and developed bespoke experimental techniques for environmental waste management and safe disposal options.
On the professional front, Kenneth’s PhD dissertation is on Numerical Simulation of Gas-Liquid Bubbly Flows with engineering applications include the transfer and processing of oil and gas, cooling devices in nuclear reactors and steam generators, bubble column reactors etc. 4 journal papers & 4 conference papers published from my PhD dissertation.
Kenneth is emotionally stable and interacts with colleagues and superiors very well and always with innovative ideas in building any organization. My main interest is in developing and implementing man-machine models to provide cutting-edge solutions towards environmental sustainability, systems safety, and quality project controls in place.
Kenneth is a chartered engineer and professionally registered member of IChemE, MIIRSM, CIEH, MIET etc having applied his wealth of skills and experience to balance risk ALARP vs CBA, safe by design vs safe use etc. Kenneth is currently a safety engineer with the UK’s Ministry of Defence.
