Chinwe Ogbonna is a Development Economist with a BSc. EduEcons. from Abia State University Uturu Nigeria, MSc. DevEcons. from Ghent University Belgium, and MBA majoring in Business Information Management (BIM) from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium. She has carried out a developmental research project in Nigeria on Determinants and Impacts of Off-farm Participation and Support Systems on the Overall Income of the Rural Farmers with a case study of Umuawa, Abia state in 2015.
She is interested in Rural development, youth capacity building and empowerment, through agricultural (food) production, distribution, access and development policy. She is eager to explore different agricultural development projects, involving / encouraging youth participation towards bringing positive change in agricultural production.
She is also a business IT professional and has conducted a research on investigating the Success factors for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in SMEs in 2020. She was involved in a project at KUL on Designing a Business Information System of a company with “Accenture” in 2019, modelling the ‘‘AS IS’’ and ‘‘TO BE’’ situation with BUCM, SUCM, elaborated with BPMN in Visual Paradigm.
