International Student Conference (ISC 2017): What Next?
“Contribution of International Students to the Development of Their Home Countries and Study Environment.”
This conference is organized by the African Caribbean Pacific Diaspora Youth Support Services (ACP DYSS) with the involvement of the ACP- Secretariat in Brussels which involves the ACP group of states, Collaborators include ACP- Youth Professional Network, World Youth Alliance Europe, Digital African Women. The conference is organized jointly with the International Students Platform – ISP of VUB in association with Gambian Students and the African Community Platform of VUB, International Students’ Association of Ghent University (ISAG), supported by Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), Ghent University (UGent), University of Antwerp and KU Leuven.
The theme for 2017 is aimed at the best ways Youths can make contributions in climate change, innovative entrepreneurial development among graduates. The areas of discussion will cut across, Youths in Technology and leadership, women empowerment, Promoting Circular economy- climate-smart technology, Promotion on Entrepreneurship and NGOs among Youths.
This would yield innovative response and human resource growth both in their home countries/regions and the study abroad environment.
The conference is aimed at promoting the contribution of international students to the socio-economic development of their home country/region and their study environment.
