“Contribution of International students to the development of their home countries and study environment.” SDG8: Youth Mental Health Descent Work and Economic growth
This conference is organized by the African Caribbean Pacific Diaspora Youth Support Services (ACP DYSS). In collaboration with International Students’ Association of Ghent University (ISAG), African, ASEAN, Russian, China, and CESAM Platform. World Youth Alliance Europe, One Young World. The conference is organized with the support of Ghent University (UGent), VLIR-UOS under the Global Minds Sensitization Events Program, Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), University of Antwerp and KU Leuven. The conference is aimed at promoting the contribution of international students to the socioeconomic development of their home country/region and their study environment.
The theme for 2019 is SDG8 Decent work and mental health for economic growth and sustainable development: opportunities and challenges for the youth. Sub –theme cuts across Youth employment and mental health, Youth, workplace and environmental protection and finally Migrant workers: challenges and opportunities. , Promotion of Entrepreneurship and NGOs among Youth, and Promotion of Alumni Policy of Universities towards internationalization. This would yield innovative response and human resource growth both in their home countries/regions and the study abroad environment.
